About this rug
Bolesht is Farsi word for pillow. Bolesht bags were used as pillows in the tents of the nomadic Baloch and in their permanent dwellings. These beautiful cushions have a dark coloured and soft knotted and pile front and a beautiful unique flat woven back, which is decorated with colourful stripes and overlaid with decorative kilim panels.
