About this rug
Kilim carpets are in high demand and have been rediscovered by interior designers and designers. As flat weave carpets, they represent the tradition of nomadic carpets. In the past they were also used as sheets and blankets. Because of their appearance and predominantly geometric patterns, kilims are well suited to purist furniture and bright, open living rooms. Tip: Kilims treated with an abrasion process will give them a vintage look. Artificial bleaching leads to colour washout, similar to when a person is exposed to sunlight for an extended period of time.
